Long-term cash flow

Get quick answers to questions and see financial planning from a different angle.

BNS long-term cash flow tools will completely change the way you plan your finances.

In situations where there are large fluctuations in the market, it is necessary to react flexibly and to draw up operational forecasts during the year. Most companies still use the rather inefficient Excel form. The compilation of the plan is thus significantly lengthy and the manual collection of data from multiple sources leads to significant errors.

In contrast, BNS’s new tools for balance sheet and cash flow planning on a monthly or quarterly basis allow you to react flexibly to changes in the environment. These changes can affect the planned development of assets and liabilities, and the updated plan will give you answers to important questions.

BNS makes it easy to answer questions like:

  • Do we have a clear and accurate view of our long-term cash flow?
  • Do we have sufficient resources for our planned investments?
  • Do we have optimal inventory given the increase/decrease in sales?
  • How will trade receivables evolve as sales change?
  • Do we have sufficient sources of financing, especially bank loans?
  • Will we be able to meet bank covenants with higher debt?
  • How do trade, employee, tax and other liabilities change when costs change?
  • Is our cash flow okay and are we in for a unpleasant surprise?

ACTIVE CASH FLOW MANAGEMENT IS ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT MANAGEMENT ACTIVITIES

Variability and speed

BNS can be used in the finance module to use data from the income statement to create a balance sheet and cash flow. For example, to calculate trade receivables and payables in relation to sales and expenses, investments, loans, etc.

With the use of additional modules, BNS can build a plan from sales to cash flow with much higher added value. You can quickly transfer information when the market situation changes through the sales module, variable costs, inventory, investments and cash flow. Values are transferred between modules automatically, so data continuity is maintained, unlike Excel. You can further model the plan in this way and management has a very powerful tool for operational management.

The added value is the visualization of the resulting cash flow plan, where you can see all the necessary information on one modern dashboard. You can compare plan variants, see the development of key assets and liabilities over time, the performance of bank covenants, etc.
